Good Food Good Friends

Mandy and I cruised down to P.B. today to grab a bite with some of my long time homies James and Kevin at Taco Surf.

Its a good little shop with good eats and an obvious surf theme....

James (middle) races mountain bikes and is on 661 and Osiris flow team, and Kevin (right) is parcally to blame for getting me started in graphic design and to always check my kerning.

This Just In

I've always liked to give away free stuff with all the orders we get here. Stickers, Cds, small rodents you know, its just an added bonus for customers to look forward to. So Uno Mas from L.A. Symphony handed me fist fulls of their album The End is Now to hand out FREE with every order, while supplies last.

Saturday night was the CommUnity music festival in San Diego's own Little Italy. A free music show case of local bands, DJs, free food, chalk drawings, Facevalue. X Flawd Project, and of course big bad L.A. Symphony. But having the awesome digital camera that I do, I took like 10 photos and called it a night. So heres what i took...

Time in Jail?
A local news channel did a report on the ever "increasing" epidemic of sticker graffiti and apparently it’s punishable up to $50,000 and time in jail. Oh and I would just like to point out that in their report the name Ron Paul is featured the most. Click here to watch the report. Pile O’ Rocks

The Rockpile (apart of the Rock Church) is a retail shop in San Diego that has everything from books to clothes to lotion, and now they just added Flawd Project to their line up of apparel.

H2H international is an organization based out of San Diego, with a passion for the country of Romania, mainly Romanian orphans. Due to a corrupt government and a bad economy Romania has been left with thousands of abandoned children living in government institutions. Living in these government institutions has left these children unloved and neglected, in need of medical, educational, and spiritual development. And H2H is there year round, with their team of volunteers to better the lives of these children; it’s an extremely noble cause and worth looking in to.

I Can’t Stand the Rain

When ever it rains I instantly get that Missy Eliot song stuck in my head. You know the one called “The Rain" ? Came out in 1997? You know the one where she’s dancing around in a trash bag and half a gold bike helmet? Yeah you tube it, you’ll remember once you see it. I actually love when it rains though; it’s refreshing, clears out of the air. Washes everything down like God’s rinse cycle. Although I am stuck inside not getting to do a whole lot of physical activity I get to waste time searching you tube, here’s what I found. Personal Rant

It seems like every year for the past, say 5 years it’s been getting more and more taboo to say Christmas around Christmas time. But this year seemed a little different; I personally have seen a lot more “merry Christmas” and a lot less “Happy Holidays” this time around. I mean with 96% of Americans that celebrate Christmas and 68% that celebrate it as Jesus’ birth is it necessary to beat around the bush a hide the fact that we gather around with family this time of year to celebrate? Why are we so afraid to offend in the early winter months yet any other time you’ll gladly flip some one off on the freeway? Is it only because the word Christ is in Christmas? I don’t even think anyone is actually offended by Christmas, its all just some scheme to make us feel bad for celebrating the arrival of Christ, even if it the exact date isn’t historically correct or if some of our traditions are derived from pagan holidays, ok I get it but does that nullify why we celebrate? Is it not still a day for friends and family to kick back and enjoy one another joining in, in welcoming the birth of Grace? Check this Ben Stein (a professing Jew) video clip he words it better…

WEEEE! Interesting week my friends, California burns to the ground, my parents get evacuated, our website goes down, and my Grandma's cat dies... Nick our website guy got things up and running again once he returned home so big thanks to him, and incase you haven't seen enough here is some photos of my home town burning, our condolences to those who where effected by this tragedy

Our deepest appreciation to those that helped in this time of need and our prayers go out to all who where misplaced in anyway during this deviation.

Cornerstone Festivities

This past weekend we cruised up to the Cornerstone Festival in the great city of Silverado California, (yeah we didn’t know where it was either). Cornerstone is a show that has been going on for some 20 years in the eastern states and this was their first year out in Cali-forn-ia, we set up a booth along with probably 49,012 different clothing companies and had some laughs and saw some great performances. Owning your own clothing line isn't all its cracked up to be, its alot of stress to design stuff the people accualy pay for, and frustration in seeing some bigger name brand drop an idea you had a month ago. So I wanted to take a second to humbly thank everyone who has supported me in this pursuit of the American dream. When I get an email with some positive feed back in it or see someone sporting one of the pieces it makes me want to hussle harder to bring you the freshness, so thanks again and pay attention in the next couple months...
